By 1997, a 3rd generation of the Gregoire and Panfili family members took the company over from their elderly counterparts. A. Richard retained over eighty-five percent of the Canadian hand tool market and joined Hyde Tools, Inc. in 2003.

A. Richard bought Roultech in 2006, a producer and supplier of paint brushes and paint rollers. Each of the businesses created a qualified team that combined marketing and development by A. Richard with Roultech’s proficiency to successfully handle the applicator market.
